Marketing PRojects supported the launch of the award winning company and tours in 2013 when costumed guides brought to life Chester’s amazing story of its Great Siege, The Battle of Rowton Moor and the Pubs and Houses from the 17th century, all wrapped in the overall story of the English Civil War and how Chester played its part in this. Over 60 VIPs attended the launch event at Ye Olde King’s Head, Lower Bridge Street organised by Marketing PRojects. Guests heard principal Ed Abrams talk about why he was launching the tours, his passion for this era and the importance of Chester to events affecting the history of England at this time. Marketing PRojects also completed press releases, social media and fam tours during the first 6 months launch period of three tours: The Great Siege of Chester Tour, Rowton Moor Battlefield Tour and Chester Civil War Pubs Tour.
Ye Olde King’s Head in Lower Bridge Street was chosen by Marketing PRojects as the venue for the launch and one of eight pubs on the pubs tour having a significant role in the Siege of Chester. Guests enjoyed a themed buffet including Canon Meatballs, Barricade ‘Dee Salmon’ Roulade and Poached Cromwell Chicken Mouse. They took away scrolls with wax seals inviting them on a tour and giving more details.
Ed said simply; “Marketing PRojects. Brilliant! Loads of ideas and connections to ensure success. They got me great awareness quickly.”
